I am at a point right now where I really, really don't think I have what it takes to do NaNo. I just don't. Maybe it's because I am not disciplined enough, or I have too much crap going on in my life, or whatever. Point is, most people are over 20,000 words at this point and I'm at 12,000. And I've been sick for two days so that number's been pretty stationary.

I'm still going to continue working on Second Shot, but not for NaNo. I'll still update lefthandsmudge, and I appreciate everyone who's commented and pimped it. That's nuts, really, but you all really are awesome.

I'm angsting over oz_magi, too, which isn't fun. I've offered to pinch hit for unclaimed wishes, but the amount of randomness and just plain OMGWTF in the pairings is making me twitchy. I know a lot of people on my flist are going after the same wishes, so if I end up having to write a Timmy Kirk ode to Omar White, I'll cry.

Anyway. That's my emoness for today. Blame the weather and the fact that I have no voice.

If all the NaNoers on my flist jump ship before the week is out and leave me to fend for myself, I WILL CRY.
