(no subject)

MAN, it has been a week. To say I have been on a rollercoaster of ~emotions is putting it mildly. After the insane craziness of the Fall Out Boy news on Monday, I found out on Wednesday that my job was going to be thrown into turmoil. Long story short, my entire department came under the direction of a new VP four months ago, and ever since it's been nothing but chaos. On Wednesday I was told that, starting April 1, I'd be transferred out from under my boss (whom I adore) and put under a new guy who started back in November and is THE WORST. LIKE, LITERALLY THE WORST. The news was devastating, and I immediately started job hunting. My entire week was ruined.

THEN, my boss called me this morning to inform me that I would NOT be transferred from her supervision and that everything would stay the same. I'm...cautiously optimistic? But I know this isn't the end of the drama. Basically, I'm going to try and ride things out for another year until I finish my masters, then I'm out.

ON TOP OF THIS, I AM TRYING TO GET FALL OUT BOY TICKETS. I thank my lucky stars I have people like babygotbass in my life who are professionals with this stuff. I don't know what I'd do without them!
