1. TOM HARDY TALKING ABOUT PLAYING "SOFT-CENTERED" CHARACTERS:
FFFFFFF, why u no play in US til December, movie?
cobweb_diamond reported that Tom basically plays Ricki Tarr like a "nervous, emotionally vulnerable version of Eames." DO WANT.
Also, this BAMF cast, okay, I mean for real.

2. Still kind of upset over some blatant discrimination I witnessed at Victoria's Secret yesterday. I was standing in line for the fitting rooms behind a lady with a baby stroller. This woman was on the heavier side, and she obviously had stuff in her hands to try on. But the girl manning the fitting room looked right past her to me and asked me if I needed a room. I was kind of like ... and then the woman in front of me goes, "I need a room, too." And the sales girl was like, "...Oh!," like she'd just now realized the woman existed. Ugh, not cool, VS.
3. In much less depressing news, today is the one year anniversary of Mr. Foxx's law firm! YAY FOR NOT BEING BROKE AND DESTITUTE!! \o/ It's hard to really express the emotional stress we were under at this time last year; Mr. Foxx pretty much started his own business three days after his old law firm laid him off because his boss is a financial moron. But now he's ten times more confident in himself and his abilities as a lawyer, and also super proud of his business, which he should be--he's done everything on his own, from scratch, and has managed to be successful. Later this afternoon we're going to go to Kansas City and have dinner and drinks with some his friends from college. His mom also sent him a new shiny leather briefcase/satchel last week; the thing has completely smelled up the house. Leather scent everywhere. @__@
