(no subject)

My mother took it upon herself to quote Criminal Minds to me this morning during our weekly phone chat, something about writing for yourself to be happy. This was all her way of continuing her guilt trip on me for never letting her see anything I write. :(

Her: I haven't read anything of yours since...what was it you used to do? Fanfics?

Me: SIGH.

Yes, I used to let her read my old, old X-Files stories way back when. Mind you, this was long before I was writing porn. Or RPF. Or SLASH. Um, I still have no figured out a way to explain any of these to her, and my ~original stuff is still on the slashy side of things. I suppose she could see the dragonrider AU, but then...ugh. I still feel like there are bits to explain there. My life is so hard, seriously.

Meanwhile, JON IS STILL VERY EXCITED ABOUT CHRISTMAS. Just in case anyone wasn't sure. And now themoononastick is telling me all about Jon's long-lost elf heritage and how his great-great grandfather used to work for Santa. HEARTS IN MY EYES.

Now I must continue cleaning and doing laundry and watching season 2 of SGA.
