"Nothing scares me now."

I made the mistake of reading this just now, and it's as if everything from last week is catching up to me. Like I'm finally realizing that one of my all-time favorite celebrities--one of "my guys"--is gone. I know it's ridiculous, to be weeping all over myself at my desk over the loss of someone I never knew, but if you've known me for any period of time (especially during the height of Brokeback Mountain) you know how much I loved Heath. I remember reading, after the Oscars in 2006, about how he was going to take a year off, and I thought, 'I hope when he comes back his career is brighter than ever.' And then I found out about the Joker role, and I was so happy for him, that everything was happening the way he seemed to want it to happen.

God, I have so many pictures in my Photobucket account. I want to delete them all, and yet I can't bring myself to just yet. Anyway, this was always one of my favorites, because he looks like an old soul; it's haunting.



You will be missed.
