and a coffee pot in the desk.

OKAY, SO. It probably doesn't come as a shock to many of you that I, um, am in crush mode with Jeremy Renner. The Hurt Locker is now in my top five favorite movies, and I had a FANTASTIC movie date on Saturday with
sirona_gs,
sometimesalways,
delicatale,
aliassmith, and
laria_gwyn where we watched Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and objectified JRenner's ass. Tom Cruise gets second billing to dat ass, y'all. I saw it in IMAX, I KNOW.
But the best thing right now is that JRenner's cop show, The Unusuals, is currently on Netflix (and can be found on YouTube here). It originally aired in 2009 on ABC, and I remember being very confused by the ads; I thought it was about cops with super powers? IDEK. Needless to say, I didn't end up watching it, along with...uh, the rest of America. The show only ran for nine (ten?) episodes, which is a travesty because IT'S SO FUCKING GOOD. It's kind of like if Homicide: Life of the Streets didn't take itself all that seriously and had super quirky crimes to solve and wasn't dark and brooding and set in Baltimore. Okay, that's not the best comparison, but seriously! SO GOOD. And JRenner plays an ex-major-league-baseball-player-turned-detective named Jason Walsh who runs a diner part-time (that he also happens to live in) and hides a coffee pot in his desk. His partner, played by Amber Tamblyn, is named Casey Schraeger, who comes from old money and just wants to make it on her own merits without daddy's money.
I ship them like FedEx.

( basically, it's kind of like what would happen if I wrote a cop show )
