This was going to be his last Christmas with his best friend, and Arthur could hardly stand it.

Written for dream_holiday for sirona_gs, who asked for pining, misunderstandings, and an AU setting, so here's all three. This is loosely based on a romance novella I read ages ago, but I can't remember the author, or the title, whoops.
