Sooooooo The Proposal AU may not happen since [livejournal.com profile] lyo and I have started babbling at each other about Jon's marriage of convenience--he must marry to get his inheritance from his father, and Spencer's family is destitute and in need of the title marrying Jon would bring. They start off having separate rooms! And Spencer tells Jon he can keep going to the social clubs every night! Then there is awkward-yet-stupidly hot sex (because they must ~consummate their marriage in order for Jon's inheritance to kick in), and Spencer tries to hide the fact that he's a virgin. And Jon defends Spencer's honor when all his elite social circle friends try to joke about how good Spencer is in bed. SERIOUSLY, I don't even care how ridiculous it is, IT IS THE STORY OF MY HEART. But two Jon/Spencer fake marriage AUs from me might be a bit too much. >.>

And I need some honest opinions, re: the Office AU. For those of you who follow the US version of The Office, you know that Jim ends up dating Karen while he's at the Stamford branch, and they keep dating when they're transferred back to Scranton. In my story, I really want to make the Karen character Brendon, because in my head, Brendon and Jon hit it off when Jon meets him, and Jon can totally see why Spencer likes him so much. HOWEVER, I would NOT have Spencer dump Brendon by leaving him in New York City; there would definitely be a happy ending for Brendon.

But is breaking up Brendon and Spencer in an AU too much for everyone at the moment? I know if I were reading the same story with Spencer breaking up with Jon for Brendon, I'd be really :(( about it. So I'm torn! Give me your thoughts!

ETA: NEVER MIND, I have come up with a solution that does NOT involve boys breaking up! :D
