(no subject)

I had a nice to-do list for this weekend that consisted of:

*write my big bang
*look over an original story for a friend (!!)
*go to see Watchmen (!!)
*work out
*do laundry

The entire to-do list has now turned into:

*go to St. Louis to visit my dad in the hospital

So, yeah. I guess he's doing all right, considering. His white blood cell count is very, very low, which means his risk of infection is dangerously high. If I had a cold right now, I wouldn't be able to see him.

I appreciate everyone who has kept me and my dad in their thoughts. I am staying as positive as I can, but it's tough. The highs are not outweighing the lows, unfortunately, but he's in one of the best cancer treatment centers in the country. He's got everything going for him.

I won't be around a computer until late tonight, so if anyone wants to leave happy things for me when I get back, I'd love you forever. And while I'm at it, thank you so, SO very much to everyone who left such wonderful comments to this post. I was speechless more than once; you all really know how to make a girl feel special and loved. ♥
