Possibly one of THE best Jon/Spencer fics I've ever read, and there are a lot of good ones out there. It's a little dark, a little disturbing, and completely original. I'm still kind of an emotional wreck over it, because Taylor always breaks me with her Jon Walker every single time. Gah. <333

I NEED TO FINISH MY mcshep_match FIC TODAY OR I WILL BE STRESSED. But, first, pleaseplease, I will pay someone a billion dollars if they write this AU idea I had this morning while at the gym. I would write it myself, but I am currently backlogged with fics-in-progress for various challenges, so. As I am smitten with Brendon-Patrick BFF fics (and there are not enough out there), here's my thought:

Brendon and Patrick are both members of an orchestra. I'm thinking Brendon's a trumpet player and Patrick plays clarinet. Or something (Brendon must play a brass instrument, though, because hi, MOUTH). Anyway, Brendon's majorly in love with one of the string bass players (Jon), and he enlists the help of Patrick to get his attention. Patrick asks his friend Pete, the concertmaster, to help as well, while secretly harboring major crush-like feelings for him, but doesn't let on about it, because hey, it's Brendon he's got to worry about. Spencer can be a percussionist (with Andy! And Bob, too, if you really want to bring everyone in), Ryan can be a cellist, and everyone can just live out my big fat orchestra AU dream. \o/
