Why he may win: One almost feels bad for Meloni, who doesn't get to flex his acting chops on a procedural as much as he could on a serial. Voters might recall his topnotch work on HBO's prison drama "Oz," which might help him here.
Maybe not: The procedural dilemma looms large.
Quote: "I think at the beginning of the show, he (Stabler) was very clear about where he stood and how the world operated. As time has gone by, that structure has gotten a lot of dents and dings in it. I think he's a little less sure of a lot of stuff," Meloni told NBC.com.

AC update: Yeah, still broken. I have a fan on me at the moment, which isn't too bad. It's around 76 outside. Since Justin changed the filter last night, they told us we needed to "restart" the thing, i.e. shut it off for three hours and then turn it back on. And yet...nada. Those bastards better get their asses out here IN PERSON tomorrow. Bah.
