"You're letting me win."

For research purposes *cough*, I've been rewatching "Family Bizness" and "Strange Bedfellows". I hadn't watched the former in awhile, and it fascinates me now. Gah, it hurts so bad when Toby tells Chris about his one time wrestling and how "when I heard the 'snap' I got up and got out." :( But what I find interesting is that once Toby finds out Gen's killed herself, he doesn't really get emotional until he finds out the kids found her (although that little whimper, GUH). For me, that goes a looong way to show that Toby always, always loves his kids more than his wife. Even his breakdown at the end of FB isn't anywhere near the devastation in "Works of Mercy".
Also, the look Keller gives Schllinger when Vern's laughing at Toby while he reads Gen's suicide note: I want to believe that's the real moment cracks started to form in Operation Toby.
