we_are_cities makes me want to write very long, very sad/angsty Jon/Spencer fic from Spencer's POV where Jon ends up leaving the band to go persue photography stuff and/or tour with Tom. It hurts my heart to even THINK about it. :(
* LOLZ, oh PStump, I love you so. I have NO EARTHLY IDEA what your gorgeous, non-enunciating voice is singing on "The Carpal Tunnel of Love", but I love that song anyway.
* SPEAKING OF PATRICK, I actually wrote a snippet of Pete/Patrick forshleemeri the other night and I am quite proud of it. It'll most likely be turned into a larger fic, because really, if you are not familiar with the joys of Gay Chicken, you are missing out!
His breath is hot against Patrick's chin, and Patrick thinks this time, this time, he's not fucking backing down, because everyone expects it, everyone knows that every time Pete zeros in on him and grins all big and wide and brilliant, Patrick starts to feel his cheeks go pink and he can't--he can't do it. He can't keep looking Pete in the eye until they are nose to nose and his mouth feels too damn hot and wet--
But Patrick holds his breath, shuts his eyes, and just as Pete huffs out a pleased, slightly smug little laugh, he flicks his tongue out and swipes it over the edge of Pete's bottom lip. Pete gasps, jerks back sharply, and the whole room goes quiet for a moment. Pete's eyes are wide, shocked, and maybe a little darker than they were a few seconds earlier.
Patrick lets out the air he's been holding. "Guess I win," he says, and Pete starts to laugh.

I especially love the line "lost in the ignorance of loving you" OH GOD.
Tom Conrad breaks my heart. It's all the NOT knowing and all the what ifs and the speculation.
Also, GAY CHICKEN WTF! That's hot and you should definitely write a whole long fic about it escalating because you KNOW Pete wouldn't let Patrick get away with winning.
