Oh my god, I have read the fic of my dreams, and I can't stop crying.

I love how in her AN she says that it's one of the stories that she is most proud of in her writing career. She should be proud because the whole piece was incredible. I wish that I could be even half the writer that she is.

IT WAS EVERYTHING I COULD EVER WANT IN A FIC AND MORE.

I read the summary. Is it gen? Does it have a pairing?
I have to say I liked the idea of him being surfer, but honestly, I don't see him like a sporty guy. Like.. he enjoys watching but not doing.
And his little tummy agrees with me I think.

It's Jon/Spencer near the end (although I hate to tell you that, because it spoils it a little), but honestly, the whole thing could've been gen and I still would've loved it to pieces. I know it sounds iffy, the whole Jon-as-a-surfer concept, but trust me,

sathinks handles it beautifully. You won't regret reading it!

I usually can't read gen. I did it just once, but it was an amazing fic.
And at work, and I have no orders to do, so I'll give it a try.

The whole time I was reading it I was copy-pasting bits to my RL friends in IM and pretending it was from a book because I didn't want to explain fanfic to them. For example:

Me: And then he's 12 and they move to Hawaii and he's all homesick so he only orders chicken fingers!
My brother: ...Is this book about me?

:) I made one of the mixes for it. It wasn't finished when I got it, so I'm looking forward to reading the whole thing.
