There's a good reason these fanfics are locked, honey.

God, sorry for all the spam, s;kdkad;fd.

I've pretty much come to the conclusion that I'm a bit of a hypocrite. While I was completely fine with Patrick's "I read the fanfic" comment a few months back and thought it was kind of hilarious, evidently I cannot take nearly the same thing being said by Brendon and Ryan. This is most likely due to the fact that, um, I haven't really written a lot of porn starring Patrick and I wouldn't cringe and curl into a horrified ball of woe if he ever happened upon this journal.

Okay, on the one hand it's hysterical the way Brendon embarrasses Ryan so badly, oh my goodness. He doesn't even think twice! On the other hand, um. I can't help the way my palms break into a sweat at the mere THOUGHT of simple Google searches.

Yes yes, this isn't anything new, and while I DO like to entertain myself with wonderful scenarios involving Brendon reading pornfiction out loud to Ryan via his Sidekick, I also tend to think when it comes to this fandom, ignorance is fucking bliss.

*grin* I'm just that nice a person, i guess.

Yeah, Kripke reads it. When Jo came out in S2, she was supposed to be a love interest for Dean, but the fans HATED her, so he wrote her out. They've been asked about what they think about wincest at cons {*headdesk* i don't think i could ever do that to anyone. 'So, people are writing stories about you having sex with someone else on the innernets. How do you feel about that?'} & Jensen has said that they all know about it, they read it for the lolz, and Kripke writes in-jokes into the shows as a nod to the fans.

I think it's hilarious. Again, because chances of them finding my work is so slender.

And hey, again, the way i see it is their famous and part of being famous in cult shows/bands these days is having a hard-core fandom. And this hard-core fandom needs something to occupy their time, so fic, meta, art, discussions, etc. is born. Everywhere.

So i think the only way to deal with it is the way these guys are - knowing it's there, and knowing how to use the back button sensibly.

Again, i've spoken for too long. That's my 2c $47.07 on the matter.
