foxxcub | (no subject)

I have come almost full circle with my iPods. First, I had a pink 4g Mini (aka Toby), then an 8g black Nano (Patrick Smith Walker), then an 8g Touch (Patrick Smith Walker II), and now I'm back to a 2g black Shuffle. (Uh, I'm not counting my iPhone, but anyway.) Basically this all comes out of necessity for my running; the Touch is super bulky for running, imo, as is the iPhone. But now my little Shuffle (Patrick Smith Walker III) has a brand new playlist, and the controls on the earbuds are pretty nifty. I never would've thought I'd be all \o/ over a Shuffle, but there you go!

I wish I could write Harlequin AUs more easily in Holmes fandom. It's not quite the same to wander through the romance section of Barnes & Noble and see His Virgin Mistress and NOT automatically think, "oh god, I could totally write that." Bandom, you spoiled me. (I could TOTALLY write a Jon/Spencer virgin mistress AU, though, omg. Although I'm pretty sure I've written that in chat with either

I love Tumblr soooooo much, because it reminds me of things I'd forgotten about, like RDJ lip-syncing to Elton John's "I Want Love":

This video came out in 2001, right after he was released from prison. I remember watching it when it first aired and thinking, "Wow, this almost hurts to watch," and now I am pretty much a teary mess at the end. If you love this man, I DARE you to watch this and not cry even just a little, especially at around 2:30 and on.

Off topic: At work this morning, I logged in a book called "Holmes on Homes", which naturally, I read as "Holmes on Holmes". Which of course, naturally led to me think of you. And to think, I think I saw a porno like this once (with time travel!).

But I don't know. Sketchy with a heart of gold carpenter/house builder guy Holmes and Watson the long-suffering but incredibly busy and therefore unable to do his own house-building/fix its doctor? I'd read it.
