Let me just say that as totally CRACKED OUT as I find this, um, GUH. Who WOULDN'T buy that issue? Screw the whacking, it's a gratuitous excuse to get Meloni Keller in an open-collared shirt, and if that's what it takes to promote better understanding of our prison systems, then I am ALL. FOR IT.

Somewhere I have a tiny clipping from TV Guide back then, giving that segment a Jeer, but with a funny line about how not even Chris Meloni has enough cleavage to make the cover of Maxim. LOL

I should've waited until tomorrow to watch "Sonata Da Oz," because I can't handle Said being shot. It's just...*cries* Yeah, I knew it was coming, but WHY?!

So is it "Sonata da Oz" or "Sonata de Oz"? I've seen both and keep renaming the file on my computer since I'm not sure which is right.

I sobbed a little, and I didn't even like Said. I think it was the reaction of the Muslims that broke me because when he got shot I was in shock. I saw "4giveness" today and the end of that irked me...I balance between love and hate when it comes to Keller.

Well, I looked it up at The B/K Bin and she's got it as "Sonata da Oz," so that's what I'm going with, although there's other places you could look it up, I guess.

Aw, you don't like Said? I hate him in S1, but after that, especially when he and Beecher became soulmates, I loved him.

Said gets too righteous for me sometimes. I like him when he's being...himself instead of the Imaum. I like his relationship with Beecher, and I loved the parts with him whipping Omar White's ass into shape, but when he gets preachy I just want him to shut the hell up. I gained respect for Said, though, when he was trying to tell Beecher that his relationship with Keller was an abomination, and Beecher said, "How is love wrong?" and then Said seemed to accept that, despite his beliefs.

Oh, I agree Said gets obnoxious when he's on his high horse, like the majority of S5. He and Sister Pete aren't that different in that regard, heh.

One of my favorite moments in the Said and Beecher relationship is in S4 when Toby's trying to convince him that there's a part of Adebisi in him, that he's not so different from him, and Said goes totally ballistic on him, which basically means Toby hit the nail on the head. Great, great dynamics between them, only made better by the fabulous actors who play them. :)
