Me: Um. Don't even.

Me: If you're talking about Keller and Toby, you're wrong. He never raped him.
Co-worker: Oh please. He manipulated him into falling in love with him.
Me: But THEN he fell in love with TOBY.
Co-worker: AFTER the ass raping.

Co-worker: Whatever. SVU has totally redeemed Meloni for me. He's awesome in that.

I couldn't decide what I was more insensed about: the fact that he totally dissed the character of Keller, or the fact that he insinuated that SVU is better acting venue for Chris.

I gave this a bit of thought, and have decided, with all my thinking skillz, that Oz really was the place Teh Meloni shined. Look at it this way: he got to be sexy, evil, conniving, manipulative, cunning, humorous, violent...I mean, what more could you ask for in a character? And that man carried that shit off like nobody's business. He made Keller someone we could love, and this was s sociopathic serial killer (well, signature killer, IMO, but I'll generalize) who on the surface had no redeeming qualities whatsoever. But Meloni took what could have been a completely immoral bastard and just tweaked the hell outta him, giving him personality. Shit, he should be so lucky to get to play Elliot like that.

Tell your co-worker to put that in his pipe and smoke it.
