PARASITES

Okay, look. I don't usually look back on past popular fandoms and think, "MAN, I missed out," but the one exception to all that is LOTR/LOTRiPs fandom, because damn, that was some CRAZY SHIT that I would have eaten up with a spoon. But I came back into fandom about a year or two too late and missed all the fun. I sigh wistfully when I read about all the epic wank.

So, needless to say, I consider my fall into all things The Hobbit to be my way of reliving LOTR fandom vicariously, even if we don't have that level of gay going on with this cast.

Also, I have somehow made nearly 3,000 words of Frat AU that I'm collaborating with [livejournal.com profile] radioaches on. I'm writing Kili/Fili and Thorin/Bilbo, and she's doing Legolas/Gimli and Merry/Pippin. The dwarves are frat bros and there are parties and formals and shenanigans and omgggggg what even is my life anymore.

So lotrips was what got me into fandom and livejournal, and I look back, and nope, still nothing gayer. Not even Smallville was gayer and Smallville was plenty gay.
