I've yet to saying anything about it here, but I think I should probably mention that over the past year, I have been Stockholmed into shipping Captain America/Iron Man (i.e. Steve/Tony) by lyo. We have written countless email fics of pining!Steve and pining!Tony and snuggles and first kisses and STEVE BEING INTRODUCED TO GAY PORN, ETC. Now they are basically my comic OTP FOREVER AND EVER.

Needless to say, I am VERY EXCITE over the new Captain America trailer. Tool song, wee skinny!Steve being fierce, "MR. STARK" ;dfskkfs I cannot wait until July. Which also means it will be exactly one year until The Avengers comes out, and omg, I just can't. Toooooony. Steeeeeeeve. I need your epic antagonistic bromance in my eyeballs immediately.

I've said this to lyo and five_ht repeatedly, but Marvel fandom, you have a SERIOUS LACK OF PORN when it comes to these two. I mean, really. Hopefully with the movies coming out this will be corrected.

It is weird for me to be excited about Cap because, not being from the US, his book and his stories have always been a bit too...how to put it delicately, flagwavy? At times? For me. I like him best in the The Avengers.

And yet here I am, ludicrously excited about this film - partially because Marvel have been awesome with movies this year and partially because the film was almost entirely shot in the UK - because I love the look and style of it as a WWII film. Plus I will watch Chris Evans in pretty much anything (even though I reserve to right to still be sadface about the failure of the F4 movies because he was a perfect Johnny Storm ).
