1. You know the movie Anastasia? Yeah, I think Dimitri's hot. He's the reason I started thinking John Cusack's hot and has a voice of sex. And I think John Smith in Pocahontas is hot. But those are the only animated dudes I lust after. No, wait--when Shrek's a guy, he's hot, too. Really hot. Heh.

2. I still own (and frequently wear) a t-shirt my brother bought me at Star Trek convention we went to when I was 13 or 14. It's navy blue and has an embroidered Enterprise NCC in the corner. Now it's all faded and covered in bleach stains, but I wear it, and not just to the gym--IN PUBLIC. And who was at said convention? Michael Dorn (Worf), although I couldn't have him personalize my autograph because he was in a rush. But I have two other ST autographs from two different conventions, and they're both personalized. And in plastic frames. And one is Wil Wheaton. Yep.

3. I think I have in my possession every David Duchovny magazine photo in existence from 1994 until, oh, 2001. And a few I bought on eBay. AND I have a Scully doll, complete with green slime cocoon (i.e. Fight the Future), that, once again, was given to me by my brother. It's in mint condition, too. Duh.

4. I sit and listen to Stravinsky's Rite of Spring and play the whole dinosaur/evolution scene from Fantasia in my head. While driving.

5. When I play "Scene It", I HAVE TO WIN. There's just no question. You play with me, or you play against me. Because, you see, when I worked at Blockbuster my nickname was Movie Queen. I was the girl no one wanted to go up against in trivia. I still have my Blockbuster card with "Movie Queen" on it in place of my name. And yes, I still get weird looks.

God, there's WAY more than 5 reasons for my dorkness. And I haven't even touched on the fandom :D

Oh my God, I'm *not* the only person who thinks animated guys are hot! It still makes me feel like a complete dork, but at least I'm not alone. : )

Seriously, there needs to be a ~~support~~ group for fangirls of animated hotness. I felt weird for YEARS about Dimitri, but then I slowly started discovering that there were others like myself...

There was a time I would cheerfully have killed for a personalised WW autograph. But then, isn't it funny how lives are circular - ten (really? OMG. Yes. Ten) years ago I was in love with him, then it kinda faded when I quit watching in about 1999, and about two months ago someone slipped me a link to his blog feed and now I'm in love with him again. :D

I could tell you a whole story about my experience in getting that autograph, but I'll save that for another time ;D

In third grade, my brother and I gave Gates McFadden/Dr. Beverly Crusher a stuffed lobster. I think it was intended to remind her of Cape Cod. I didn't even think to put that on my list, darnit!

I'm severely lacking movie geek cred, and I think Scene It would be wonderful validation. Modesty? What modesty?

OMG YES! I watched "Summer Love" the other night and squeed with joy! I absolutely adore Cusack!

DIMITRI! I had no idea who John Cusack was when I saw the movie, but all I knew was that Dimitri had the hottest voice ever. Then years later, I got the hots for real-life Cusack. [g]

I LOVE how I'm finding out that everyone else had the hots for Dimitri besides me. That's just awesome.... :D

I was in LOVE with Eric from the Li'l Mermaid when I was younger. And a few years ago it was the guy from Atlantis :P Hheeheehee. Yeah, hot guys there...
