@thisisryanross: Just saw fantastic mr. Fox. Doing so did nothing but convince me even further that I'll be getting a pet fox in the not so distant future.

After rambling at

lyo about how Ryan would name his fox Harrison and would desperately want to cuddle it, only to have Jon explain to him that, no, foxes don't sleep in human beds, they like their dens, so he makes Ryan a faux den for Harrison to sleep in, and then Brendon's all "\o/!!FOX!" and makes Spencer go with him to visit, I JUST WANT SOMEONE TO WRITE ME THE STORY OF HARRISON THE FOX AND HOW HE SAVES RYAN'S LIFE. ;__;

Oh, Ryan's pet fox, oh man.

He and Z pretend its their kid! Jon thinks it's a little creepy, but adorable.

He's never sure what to say when he comes into the kitchen to find Ryan and Z sitting at the table, watching Harrison chew something under a chair and earnestly discussing school applications.

The shopping trips to find Harrison new hats are EPIC.

The man could not maintain a basset hound. A TEACUP BASSET HOUND. What in god's name is he going to do with a fox?

IDK, foxes are more self-sufficient than dogs? *hands*

It's going to eat Bronx, and then all hell is going to break loose. I CALLED IT FIRST.

My great aunt used to have a pet fox. It's tail was really, really soft. I could see that being a big selling point for Ryan.

She did. It was never completely tamed though, so you couldn't bring it inside. And sometimes it would scratch, and of course I was allergic to it like I am all animals, so it gave me hives, but it was still really fun once it got used to you. If Ryan gets a fox, I hope to God he has the sense to keep it outside and doesn't try to like, nuzzle it's belly or anything. (Because it's tempting. My God, it's so tempting. But it will take your face off.)

That's why Jon convinces him NOT to snuggle Harrison in bed. He doesn't want Ryan to wake up without a nose.

Hahaha, Jon is such a good friend. Always looking out for his bros like that.

Well they should look out and never get Marley to meet Harrison. Ooh what if one day Ryan just visits Jon and forgets about the whole issue and then Marley starts barking and they run after each other!

Lol, this makes me think of my hairdresser, whose boyfriend has a pet fox (and it's illegal because he doesn't have a permit, or it's not legal in Pennsylvania, idk). She spent the entirety of my last hair appointment bitching to me about how much she hates the fox, and how bad it is.

LOL awww, well shame on him for keeping it when he shouldn't, but I still can't help thinking that's still cute.

I have two foxes living in my garden, Ryan Rossy can have one of them! But only if he names it Harrison. Because that is PRECIOUS.

I am finding it hilarious how many of us are finding Harrison the immediate go-to name Ryan would use for anything that needs naming at the moment, too. (It came up in a WIP the other day as well. Fannish hivemind ftw!)

Ha, I didn't even realize that, re: fannish hivemind! Although it makes sense that everyone would assume Ryan would name everything after a Beatle. :D

Oh, there's no reason you should've, I don't think - it was an offline conversation in that instance where like three of us went to that name immediately; it's sort of reassuring other people do too! *g* And that it does. Oh, kids. :D
