I LOVE IT! I'm a little unsure about the band name (it's very them) but that's mainly still :( over the split methinks. Ryan sounds so good! At least now we can all see why they couldn't carry on as one band.
I fled the patd comm quicksharp as well. Haters can stfu.
Honestly, this is the first time I have truly felt comfortable and okay with the split. While I'm not crazy about New Perspectives, it sounds like something Brendon would want, music-wise, and Change obviously is a sound Ryan would want. They're both happy and making music, plus Brendon just twittered this:
"may good fortune be with you, may your guiding light be strong... and in my heart you will remain..."
My brain is programmed to apply all of Brendon's tweets to Ryan, and that one was no exception.
Now we can see (or hear) why they split and can see that they seem happy, I can be happy for them. I still want to see some evidence of them hanging out again, but I reckon that might happen once they've done recording/touring etc (they're done touring before the birthdays...ooh there's a possibility)
A few nights ago, lyo and I talked extensively about how Spencer and Ryan have never not celebrated their birthdays together, and that since their part of the Blink tour will be over on August 22, there's a possibility that they'll maybe have birthday shenanigans together. :)
Sorry to but in, but didn't Ryan celebrate his 21st birthday without Spencer? Like, he was at a bar/club and Spencer and Brendon weren't there.
Or did you mean, like, they probably had super-secret BFF birthday shenanigans afterwards? Because, in that case, disregard the above and focus on: Yay, boys
