I think I like it? It still hurts lol (I haven't actually managed to listen to a Panic-proper song since the news broke, Northern Downpour started when I was on the bus the other day and I welled up and had to skip before I looked like an idiot). I'm mostly reserving judgement til I hear the whole thing, but it sounds kinda poppy, and Fever was many things but it was never out and out pop, idk anymore.
For some reason I had blocked out that the tour starts on Thursday (in Vegas no less) and a part of me wants vids so I can see it and really hurt but the other wants to stick my head in the sand. What I really want, and what would make me happier than anything (and would possibly actually convince people that they are still friends) is if Ryan and Jon were there supporting them. My head refuses to believe that Ryan doesn't want to see the reformed Blink. I feel I am dreaming with that hope though *sigh* they will all be the death of me.
No, I completely understand where you're coming from. If this were from all four of them? I'd be all, "WTF?" but still a lot more excited.
Jon may be home in Chicago right now, so who knows if they'll show up at any of the dates. I tend to doubt it, not because they don't want to support them, but because that's just really awkward on all fronts. :(
Exactly. I sort of feel that if I were properly excited, it'd almost be like cheating on them? From all four of them, it'd be a bit of a curveball like PO was, but we'd all be thrilled. I think I'm still in that phase of ok, musical differences fair enough, but why couldn't they wait til the album was done with, then Ryan would've been free to leave without all the legal wrangling. It's impressive that he believes in this so much that he'd leave when he's still tied to the label (if he actually answered Pete's calls, Pete might be inclined to help him get out of it), never makes things easy for himself does Ryro.

I figured Jon was home when the cat pic appeared, plus they've both been quiet on the twitter front for a day or so. And I know it's wishful thinking, but like most people the friendship aspect is still what bothers me most (I still get a bit flaily whenever Zack tweets Ryan, although he never tweets Jon... oh twitter, we can read so much into it, but who's to say they don't actually text/speak on the phone)
