Yay!! So the movie was good? I really like Ryan Reynolds. I'm watching him on HBO right now as a matter of fact. Also, YAY!!!!OMG!!!!! for Proposal AU!! That sounds like a lot of fun!

Btw, I know I've already told you this, but the Offic AU is shaping up really well, I think.

I have not enjoyed a romcom that much in a LONG time! RR and Sandra Bullock have wonderful chemistry, and there are so genuine, laugh-out moments, which a lot of romcoms lack. Granted, there are some cliched moments thrown in for plot movement, and there's a really weird side story about the grandma being a native Alaskan, but I so did not care. :D

Ahaha I will hopefully send you more later to read, except I'm getting dragged off to a BBQ tonight.

\O/ I wondered if that movie was any good. I am looking forward to both of these fics immensely.

It's really adorable, I HIGHLY recommend it!

JULIE, IT'S THE PLOT OF MY HEART. Like, instead of book publishers, they can work for a music label, and Spencer can be the hard-core driven producer, while Jon is his assistant, who just wants to get his foot into the music industry and get his band produced. Jon LOVES music, and somewhere along the way, Spencer realizes how much he forgot about all that in favor of making money. And instead of Alaska, they go back to Jon's parents' house in rural Illinois, outside of Chicago.

Everyone is telling me how amazing this movie is, and fake dating is my FAVORITE CLICHE PLOT OF ALL TIME, but I have a really massive embarrassment squick that leads to me avoiding 95% of all comedy movies. Should I risk it for this one?

I was about to say, should you need to consult a real live Alaskan I am ready to volunteer!, but then I saw the comment about rural Illinois. Which makes so much more sense, I must admit. *g* Faux dating/engagement/etc. for whatever reason is one of my favorite cliches ever so I'm really looking forward to this. :D
