Brendon is giving them sad looks and the kids are watching them all wide-eyed and fascinated, so Spencer huffs and says, "Fine, GO." And waves his hand toward the lake.

But they don't really need an hour, because Jon talks really fast, since he's afraid if he doesn't get it all out Spencer will just walk. He tells him he was a stupid kid just trying to fit, but he knows he really hurt Spencer's feelings and he's sorry, truly, and can't they just be friends, please? He looks at Spencer so earnestly, Spencer can feel his resolve melting. Damn those stupid puppy eyes.

"All right, truce." He holds his hand out to shake, and a HUGE relieved grin spreads over Jon's face. He grabs Spencer's hand and says, "Thank you," all soft-like, and Spencer suddenly feels his cheeks heat. What the hell?
