Ryan would totally be into the high end fibers and drag everyone to yarn shops to find the perfect fiber combinations- he once tried to make his own (they look so easy to do on instructables!) but alas, failed miserably (and really, who was to know that was one of Jon's precious first attempts at a hat? It looked like a big ball of aquamarine yarn that would be PERFECT to mix with this pink and Spencer attaching so much sentimental value to it was ridiculous anyway, its not like Jon hadn't made him an entire army of knitwear, and Ryan would have given him his first attempt at making a fiber so it would be like two first tries in one!)(Oddly, Spencer seemed to buy none of those arguments, especially when the attempt blew up in Ryan's face), and ended up having Spencer ban him from all further attempts. So alas, he has to stick with the yarns that come with a creepy picture of the girl on Wheel of Fortune (Vanna's choice? Really?) but now Brendon is more willing to share his yarn basket (even if it only contains sparkly or strange-mutlicolor concoctions of yarn that Ryan only uses just to see the way Brendon's eyes light up) so there is always that.
