Jon always makes it seem like he's just passing through, that he's no different than some guy you'd run into in a bar or a club. He slips his hands into the back pockets of his jeans and walks up to the passenger window of the Ferrari.
2. Big Casino - Jimmy Eat World
back when i was younger i was someone you'd've liked
got an old guitar i'd had for years i'd let you buy
and i'll tell you something else that you ain't dying enough to know
there's still some living left when your prime comes and goes
Jon shakes his head, sending wisps of his bangs into his eyes as he comes back into the suite, still taking in the surroundings with an almost endearing look of awe. Spencer has been in thirteen different penthouses in the last five months; he's pretty much forgotten what it's like to not take the luxury for granted.

"What do you want?" he whispers, and Spencer shivers.
"What do you do?" Spencer whispers back.
"Everything," he says matter-of-factly, "but I don't kiss on the mouth."
Spencer reaches up and threads his fingers through Jon's hair, pushing it back from his eyes. "Neither do I."
4. Feeling Good - Muse

He shoves the cash into the pocket of his leather jacket and runs out onto the balcony, yelling, "Five thousand fucking dollars, bitches!" at the tops of the buildings spread out before him. He can't stop smiling like a crazy person; he's standing on the penthouse balcony of the Regent Beverly Wilshire, wearing a bathrobe worth more than his apartment and smelling like a damn flower bed.
5. After Hours - We Are Scientists
this night is winding down
but time means nothing
say that you'll stay
"No, I just...I'll be back. Don't wait up for me." His cheeks color a little at that, and Jon has this intense urge to touch him, to just slide his hand over Spencer's arm.
Jon blinks and shakes the urge off. "All right." He stands in the doorway, the wind playing with the ends of his shirttails as he watches Spencer leave without another word.
6. Don't Let it Fool You - Empires

every night everywhere it comes in
Their eyes meet, and for a second, Spencer's tilts his head down, lips parted slightly. Jon can feel himself starting to lean up, can feel his own mouth growing wet and the sharp surge of want buzzing in his skin, but he ducks away at the last minute, closing his eyes and cupping the back of Spencer's neck.
7. Dark Blue - Jack's Mannequin

At the last possible moment, Jon flashes back to the Armani store and Spencer leaning in to kiss his temple, smiling at him like he was the only person in the room. It hurts to remember right now, and he wants more than anything to hate Spencer. But he can't.
He leaves the suite barefoot with his arms full of clothes, but he leaves the money on the bed.
8. Doubting Thomas - Nickel Creek

He feels something soft and fleeting, like a kiss, against his neck. "What about you?" Jon says against his skin. "Are you happy?"
Spencer rolls over and looks up at Jon, at the faint bruise starting to form along his collarbone. He splays his hands over Jon's thighs. "Depends on when you ask me," he whispers.
9. Topeka - Ludo

every sinner has a future
Spencer leans close and brushes his lips over Jon's shoulder blade. "You deserve a lot more," he whispers, and Jon's heart flips over.
"No. I just want new guitar strings so I don't just hum shit in my head." He tries to laugh, but it turns into a rueful smile pressed into the pillow.
"You're worth more than that." Spencer rubs his cheek against Jon's skin, his five o'clock shadow prickly soft.
10. Northern Downpour - Panic at the Disco

He doesn't sing until they're at the edge of the bed, and Spencer's shirt is laying on the floor back in the bedroom doorway. He's bare from the waist up, and Jon sweeps his palms over Spencer's skin, listening to the way his breathing changes, sensing the slight trembling under his fingertips. He tucks his face into the curve of Spencer's neck and kisses him there.
"Hey moon, please forget to go down," he hums, barely singing loud enough to even hint at a melody. It's the only bit of song that comes to mind at this moment, even if it is just some stupid chorus he came up with one night sitting around drunk with Brendon and wishing his life had turned out differently somehow. He pushes Spencer back onto the bed and follows him down, stretching out over him with his knees straddling Spencer's hips. "Hey moon, don't you go down," he mumbles against Spencer's stomach before moving to open his fly.
11. G.I.N.A.S.F.S. - Fall Out Boy
it's a strange way of saying that i know i'm supposed to love you

Spencer doesn't stir at all, and when Jon pulls his hand back, he finds himself closing his eyes and leaning forward to kiss Spencer's cheek, the curve of his cheekbone. His heart pounds as he licks his lips and finally presses them to Spencer's. It's every inch a kiss, mouth to mouth, even if the pressure is too soft to be anything but chaste.
12. Heaven - Angels & Airwaves

are you curious?
"I'm sharing the fairy tale with someone," Spencer whispers. "If you'll let me." He cups both hands over Jon's cheeks to pull him into a long kiss.
Jon sighs into Spencer's mouth, and possibly makes a tiny, embarrassing whimper. "Does it have a happy ending?" he asks, nipping at Spencer's bottom lip.
"I like to think so. It has declarations of love and really great sex and maybe pizza."
He slides his hands around Spencer's back, hugging him close. "Then I say hell yes," Jon says, smiling too hard to really keep kissing.
