Okay, I just now saw this picture in

flickerofyou's LJ, and LOL LOL LOL JON AND A WAX BRITNEY SPEARS DOLL.

Seriously, though, I want fic where Jon somehow gets talked into taking this picture after a long-ass day, where their show was kind of shitty, and Ryan was kind of a dick, and Brendon tried to hug everyone and make it better only it didn't, and don't even get him started on how Spencer took the last Red Bull. And so now he's left taking pictures with this girl who only has that cigarette because she insisted she was out, even though Jon only had two left, and she smells like stale Tommy Girl and Bacardi and ugh. Jon is not drunk enough to be doing this right now.

AND THEN SPENCER COMES TO SAVE HIM, IDK.

Seriously because he is SO NOT HAVING IT in that picture. It's rare to see Jon as anything but affable.

Right? I don't know why I find pissy!Jon so hilarious. And adorable. It's like he's trying to do his best impression of Spencer's bitchface.

So what does Spencer do to cheer him up?

Spencer comes up short in the doorway as the picture is snapped and is like "..." because Jon's face is, y'know, not Jon's normal face. For some reason this girl--who's, like, best friends with one of the merch guys and is always hanging around the bus--is draped all over Jon and not getting that Jon looks like he's not seconds away from throwing a hissy fit. Or punching someone.

Spencer raises an eyebrow and clears his throat. "Um, Jon, can I talk to you for a sec?" he says carefully.

He's never seen Jon move that fast in his life. "Yeah, sure, 'course." He's off the couch and grabbing Spencer's wrist and dragging him out of the room and off the bus.

"Thank fuck," he breathes once they're outside. "You have perfect timing."

Spencer grins and takes that as a good sign that Jon's not still pissed about him taking his last Red Bull.

"Well, considering the day we've had, at least I know I can still do something right," Spencer says, only half-joking. It's seriously been a shitty day; any day that makes Jon have that kind of look on his face is not a good one.

"No, seriously." Jon finishes his cigarette and stubs it out a little too fiercely. "I was dying in there. So help me if that photo ends up on the fucking internet."

"I'll photoshop Brendon's face on her body." He nudges Jon's shoulder and laughs.

Jon, finally, smiles. "That would actually make it worth it. Almost." He nudges Spencer back.

YAY!
