(no subject)

I feel like I've been letting some people down lately in the e-friends department, so sorry for that. I still love you all, okay?

I spent the entire weekend at my mother's, either celebrating my brother's birthday or reading The Slavefic - and yes, I'm capitalizing it, because IT NEEDS TO BE. I finished it this morning at my desk when I should've been doing tons of other things, but no, I'd much rather blubber around like a baby and make grabby hands at my screen and flail around in general eternal love for the way [livejournal.com profile] emilyray and [livejournal.com profile] ignipes write these boys. (I will post a proper comment soon! It requires uploading music that I'm not able to do at work. Um. >.>)

Which brings me to the subject of pre-Panic GSF. In my own little mind, the Webster's definition reads:
pre-Panic GSF (verb)
current emotional state of Panic at the Disco hinting at underlying subtexts that may or may not end in sexual relations.

or

(noun) The album Pretty. Odd.

Or something. Basically, any group action in a fic is pre-GSF for me. Boypiles exist in canon! The worst part of pre-GSF for me is that I start to get way too emotionally invested and fretting over someone being left out and the pairings not being equal or fair and...yeah. My carnival AU just makes me sad now. Poor Ryan. ;___;

Ugh, I could really use some boypile fic right now. For now, I will settle for Virgin Bride!Spencer. ♥

Even if a fic is clearly This Pairing & This Pairing, when I reach the end my brain still goes ".... where's the sequel where they all get together?" OT4 FIC WINS, PEOPLE. IT WINS THE WORLD.

Your carnival AU - I finished and went ".... where's the sequel with Ryan?" No lie. *headdesk*

That was a case of still being new to the fandom and still being on the fence about how I felt about RyRo. Had I written that fic now, it'd totally be GSF, hands down.
