That's just the presale! The sale of the rest of the tickets starts on Saturday. They might have a bigger handling fee, but you should be able to get some.

Oh noes! I was just at that website too buying tickets for a friend, and I barely got them in time before it was sold out. It was completely ridiculous, I was refreshing every five seconds and they were gone a minute after I clicked, no joke. There's still a chance with general tickets sales! *holds you*
I think part of the problem is that there are so few tickets to begin with? Since the venues are smaller? I agree, it's insane. But on Saturday, they will be mine, oh yes.

Are these tickets all general admission? If they are you wouldn't have to worry about how fast you get the tickets, just that you get some. I know the Marquis Theater in Denver is GA only. Hmm, those are sold out too so these tickets must've gone fast.

the infinite universe does not want me to see the cobra starship. as they played the night after i saw them on the academy is tour [and i was totally tricked because they had their cds for sale, even though they weren't playing] and because i have this tricky problem of being bi-coastal and so i miss them by like two days. sigh.

That does make me feel better, actually. I'm consoling myself with the fact that the venue is very small and that there probably weren't a lot of presale tickets, anyway.
