Sometimes it's ok to pimp yourself out. Post a list of your top five fics favorite you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same.
In reverse order!
5. Everything is Alright (Lost/Oz crossover) - Because in my mind, Jack and Toby are two sides of the same person, complete with their manipulative, uber-hot con boyfriends there to make the angst better.
4. When Nothing's Left But Air (Brokeback Mountain) - If anyone ever asked me to put into words just how much I love this story and the film and the people who made both work, I'd just print out a copy of this fic. End of story.
3. Momentary Fits of Insanity (or Eddie Drake Never Blushes) (Law & Order: SVU/Wanted crossover) - I can't really explain how much I enjoyed writing this. I really, really, really love my Eddie voice here, and I think I've proven more than once how much I perv over a drunken, grabby-hands Stabler. And as dorky as it sounds, I'm so very glad there's no smut. It almost makes it better.
2. A Little Destruction (Oz) - Everything that I love about Beecher, his relationship with Keller, and the show as a whole is all wrapped up in this fic. It was my first foray into Oz fic, and I still think it's probably one the best. I'm ridiculously proud of it and the amount of work I put into it.
1. Amateurs (Lost) - I've said this before, but when it comes to the Jack/James 'verse, I'm very hard on myself. I have trouble rereading a lot of my installments. But this, the beginning...there aren't a lot of my fics that I can reread without wanting to at least tweak a line or two. And yet this fic is, to me, as perfect now as when I wrote it. It's funny how things evolve; this fic was originally supposed to be Sawyer crashing a frat party of Jack's. Can't say I regret waiting a while to send Jack to college. :)
