WTF, I missed the first ep of The Black Donnellys?! When did it air? Why has no one said anything? ARGH. You all have failed me. ;_; And I just realized last night that the sweet woobie gay boy from the SVU ep "Abomination" is in it.

My BFF saw Because I Said So and, um...yeah. See, we've mocked this one line from The Chronicles of Riddick for a long time now: "It's been a long time since I smelled beautiful." We thought NOTHING could top that, ever. Well, we were wrong.

Ladies and gents, I give you this gem from Because I Said So:

"I love that when I breathe you in, you smell like cake batter."

I AM NOT MAKING THIS SHIT UP. Someone wrote that line in a script and got paid for it. Sweet Jesus. Oh, and in case you couldn't figure it out, the movie is supposed to blow.

Just "you smell like cake batter" might have been kind of cute, actually. The first trailer I saw for that looked possibly watchable, since I love Diane Keaton. But the reviews... ouch!

My roommates and I went to see "Because I Said So" yesterday, and all three of us just cracked up at that line. The rest of the theater was all "oh, that's so sweet" and we were just dying laughing. It was a little cheesy, and I had the urge to strangle Diane Keaton for most of the film, but the premise was cute. I doubt I'll ever watch it again.

I've heard from just about everyone who has seen it that Diane Keaton is total psycho in the movie, which makes me wonder why someone of her caliber would choose to do such a film. :/
