Unless, of course, we believe that it's one and the same. In which case I will turn a blind eye to the actor/character separation distinction...until someone tells me the fun has commenced and then I will open my eyes as wide as possible, so as not to miss anything!
I have read a very brief Sawyer/Keller fic somewhere. Somewhere excellent. And it just blows the mind to think of an epic fic, where, perhaps, in the end, the doctor and the lawyer share a smile because they knew all along what their bad other-halves were up to, but they didn't mind, because a) it's Sawyer and Keller we're talking about, and b) Jack and Toby have EYES and know a good thing when they see it.
