OMG LOVE. And guh, Lee being all cute with his fluff hair and cop's uniform. AND HIS NAME IS CHRIS. Then again, from the first seven or eight episodes I can definitely see that Tom Fontana loves:

a) his Catholic subtext
b) the blinding-a-character-in-a-horrific-fashion subplot
c) beating the living shit out of Lee Tergesen

I could go on about how he also excels at writing for groundbreaking television, but I've yet to see any cock. Ahh, the dark ages before HBO. :P

Pembleton is one of the best TV characters ever. Those scenes in the box just pwn me. I'm so excited you're watching this! I think S4 might be my favorite. A lot of amazing arcs start there and there's this fantastic two-parter.

Oh yeah--when he and Bayliss interrogate the guy they know killed Adena Watson...wow, SO intense. And yet, they never get a confession. :-/

I loved Homicide, Pembelton..god he was so freakin' good, that character, wait, as the series goes on you will see more of the religious subtext shine through, especially with that character..who is one of my favorites of all his series, and he does it in such a way..he's a master.

If you ever get the chance you should read what he's said about working on St. Elsewhere, he loved it, well, he loved the show but he really loved Bruce Paltrow, Gwen's dad.--why did I say that, you know who he is. *smile*

Yes, I have watched pretty much everything that Tom Fontana has ever written. *smile*

What I love is sensing the familiar tone of the dialogue that is distinctly TF. There will be some conversations and I'll think, "Oh, that's so Oz, LOL."

Munch rocks. OMG, young boy Lee. ((thud)) He's so cute in that. WTF, Fontana? BLIND HIM? REALLY? Wow...ok.
