'kay, so basically the only joy I get out of reading my flist today is knowing that there's some OMGHOT spread with Foxy in GQ coming out next week. Oh, and

holycitygirl updated her model!Jack/Sawyer fic. But that's it.

So Sawyer took the guns because he was pissed at Jack. The end. And tonight he's gonna kill a tree frog with his bare hands. Wow. I don't know what's worse, them making Sawyer into some kind of shallow, malevolent bastard, or them having no regard whatsoever for the complexity of his character. They need to get people from the fandom writing for this show, because I swear to god we're a billion times smarter than them.

And JJ has publicly stated that Michelle's not getting the boot. FUCK. But I did get a sick pleasure out of the number of "THAT SUCKS" comments to the post at

ohnotheydidnt, especially the one that pointed out the fact that JJ has no issues with killing of Vartan, a hugely popular and likable character, but still clings to MR like she's the best thing since sliced fucking bread.

And. AND. THE SATURN AWARDS WTF. Michelle gets a goddamn nomination and Josh gets NADA?! I mean, yeah, it's the Saturn Awards, but COME ON.

I have a really dumb question (as I'm just very peripherically involved with the fandom even though I watch the show).

How did MR end up on Lost anyway? I mean doesn't she usually do movies and stuff (even if they are not terribly successful, they are still movies right)? Was it her wish to join Lost or did any of the writers/producers specifically request her? Because it just seemed like such an odd choice.

I'm 95% positive JJ specifically wanted her for the role of AL, because he's supposedly a huge fan of hers. God knows how much they're paying her, and may be her film career was stalling, so she decided to go for TV.

Today has been a big WTF day Michelle-wise. I'm paraphrasing something my dad said once, "Michelle Rodgriguez is nominated for an acting award?!" Did Tom Cruise share his crazy pills with JJ or something? 'Cause I don't run into a terribly large amount of Ana fans anymore, so...wtf JJ. WTF?

I just saw the show, and saw the frog, and went... Okay, so now Sawyer is just... killing random animal guy? Errrrkay. Maybe they HAVE castrated him. I did get a giggle out of it, mostly because of how ricockulous it was, but. Yeah.

Lost? Um. Get back on track with the first season. I'm this close to just not watching it at all, and that's depressing, cause I sitll have so much love for the first season.

As far as I'm concerned, this ep doesn't count, and PLEASE don't write off this season because of it! The amazingness of last week deserves better.
