Will someone please explain THIS to me and why THERE IS A NEW JACK EP BEFORE A SAWYER ONE?! I mean, fuck, I love Jack, but DAMMIT. I WANT MY SAWYER EP.
I'm guessing the order of the FBs has to do with what's going on on the island. I know it sucks for Sawyer fans, but I'd rather them match up the island events with FBs than just toss them all into the mix without any rhyme or reason.
I would argue that they did that already with the whole Michael flashback, but then again, they were trying to match it up with the Walt abduction. Blegh. :(
Because this show is run by emotionally manipulative bastards.

I swear, now that Sawyer's conscious, there had better be some Jack/Sawyer talky time to make up for this. Don't tell me for one second that with everything that Sawyer has wandered over the globe doing, his backstory is played out. Nuh-uh.
Or ANY Sawyer talky time, for that matter. Jeez, they enindate us with Kate eps, but GOD forbid they delve any deeper into the most complex fucking character on the show.

Some time ago, a spoilertastic friend forewarned me that there wouldn't be a new Sawyer ep "for like, forever" so at least I was prepared. Sulkily prepared, but still. :(

And you might be on to something with the sweeps thing. Maybe we should be happy that they hold Sawyer in such high regard that they save his ep for higher ratings?
