As excruciating as their ongoing denial is to watch, I love how the slow process of acknowledging their feelings (well, Arthur's feelings in particular, I don't think Eames is in any doubt about his own) enough to act on them creates all this time for Arthur to work out that Eames is so much more than a hot guy he's reluctantly attracted to. He's a refuge, and someone he can trust, someone who won't judge him, someone Arthur needs.
I agree with everyone - I want them to get to their first real kiss, but I want this wonderful tension to last forever too. And I'm just saying I would forgive any number of manipulative plot devices, including dream sequences or drunken amnesia, that would allow us to have both at once :)
