I find myself being more and more protective of Pete these days. Maybe it's because, before Twitter, all I did was hear him refer to the rude comments he sometimes has to deal with, and it was very easy for me to avoid the message boards where all the hateful comments were being posted, so I never actually saw them. Now though, Pete REPOSTS them for all to see, and it makes me sad. :( It seems like Pete is really good at dealing with them (I love that he turns it all into a big joke and blatantly calls the haters out), but still, I don't think anyone's capable of dealing with that day after day and not being affected by it. Pete's a pretty self-deprecating guy and I love that he doesn't take himself too seriously and can poke fun at himself. Some of his blog posts and tweets make me hurt for him though. (Not to mention making me want to smack a bitch.)

...That was all just a really long and rambly way of saying that I sometimes want to give Pete a hug and tell him he's awesome. But that's what he's got Bden for. ;D

I don't Facebook. Everyone and their brother has tried to get me to sign up, but I think no. I have a Myspace, but I rarely check in anymore for the simple fact that all my friends seem to have migrated to FB and any thoughts I used to blog about on Myspace now get put on Twitter. I guess everyone just has to pick their poison.
