It's just not advertised.
Today was my annual office Christmas party. Although I always wish we had parties a la "The Office" that included five bottles of vodka and an iPod, instead we all bring in a shitload of homemade food and then do what's sometimes called a Chinese Gift Exchange in the middle of the day. This consists of my two bosses going to Wal-Mart the night before and buying random cheap gifts for everyone, then wrapping them all in anonymous packages. On the day of the party, everyone draws a number, and the lowest number picks first while the higher numbers get to steal gifts from the lower numbers.
ANYWAY. Someone who drew a lower number than me picked a gift that was a holiday polar bear soap dispenser with matching hand towels (I LOVE polar bears, omg). I promptly spazzed my FACE off and practically LEAPT ACROSS THE TABLE, yelling, "OH MY GOD, MINE MINE MINE GIMME YAY!!"
Everyone else in the room: ...
shleemeri is always telling me I have Brendon tendencies? But yeah. I really am the Brendon Urie of my office.
I'm also crazy obsessed with this song at the moment: Don't Ya Know - Moonbabies
For some reason, I've convinced myself that Patrick Stump has this song somewhere on his iPod. Maybe this is because, for various reasons, I'm in a very Patrick state of mind lately, idk.
Tomorrow night, Golden Compass. I don't even care if I'll hate it, I must seeeee it.
